JOIN THE MOVEMENT

The two main questions asked about me as a candidate are:

“Why Am I Running” and “What Do You Stand For”

I have been an Executive Chef for the last 40 plus years, I have worked alongside our Blue Color Workers, I know their pride and I know their challenges.

Also as a restaurant owner on both coasts and currently overseeing 6 restaurants in town; I know what only the Small Business owner knows; how they put their heart and soul into their business and the efforts and calloused hands they have.

I am running because our City Council is fragmented and divided, I want to be a voice that brings our Council and Community together to collaborate on solutions and not to install agendas.

When asked what I stand for, I can’t help but think that I am applying for a job as A Public Servant; meaning my job is to do what the Public wants me to do; to use my skills and experience and hard efforts to help achieve those goals that the community wants.

When it comes to making those decisions and planning, it is important that the solutions work for everyone; The small business owner needs his employees to excel, and the Employees need their Small Businesses to Thrive!

That holds true for all of the challenges that lie ahead for our city, they must work for everyone and not just one side or the other. I can bring that focus and we can again be a Family oriented community.
